Do you carry out assignments for hotel chains or only for freelancers?
We generally carry out more ad hoc missions for channels that often already have teams in place and would like to rethink their strategies, their organisations or their way of doing things or to help them set up tools (RMS, PMS, etc.).
We are also increasingly working for investment funds and management companies that call on us to challenge their assets and help them improve their performance, either on a one-off basis or over time.
Finally, we carry out one-off or support missions for independent hotel owners. The business is fairly evenly split between these three types of clients.
02. RevUp Team
Do you put juniors to accompany small structures? Freelancers?
At RevUp Conseil, we have chosen to grow slower but very solidly. Our team is made up exclusively of confirmed experts, professionals who have really created value for their previous employers and have already managed reservation and/or yield management teams.
They have all already had total and complete responsibility for the revenue of several hotels. They have therefore experience of performance and management responsibilities and have already managed owners and managers.
They therefore have all the legitimacy to bring you their know-how on an operational, tactical or strategic level.
03. Price of our interventions
Do you offer merchandise exchanges?
We are fortunate to have many clients who have sublime hotel assets, very attractive and located in dream locations. We cannot accept to be paid in exchange for goods, our team is made up of full-time employees, so we have to make them live every day.
Is it possible to pay you by success?
The notion of success is very different for our different clients. For some it is a question of increasing the turnover or the revpar (yes, but here again, how can you judge the success of the turnover increase indicator if it is to increase the commissions in parallel, what would be the real optimisation achieved???) on the other hand, you remain in control of your establishments, the quality, the choice of renovations etc.
As a result, many factors influence your performance for good or for bad. It wouldn't be fair for us to benefit from gains thanks to the work you've done on your product and conversely, for us to be negatively impacted by the absence of renovations.
04. Tools
Don't you have your own revenue optimization tools?
There are many solutions on the market that have all their strengths and weaknesses.
We prefer to remain independent and neutral towards IT solutions.
Having our own tool would have the disadvantage of pushing you to use it without you being sure that it is the best tool for you.
When you help customers change tools, do you take a commission from the solution provider?
No, we have chosen to remain neutral to ensure that we keep your precious trust and our free will. PMS, channel, Booking engine, RMS tool, competition study tools etc. We have no interest in recommending one over another.
As a result, we help you to ask the right questions about your needs and analyze in detail the real functionalities of the different tools with you. On the other hand, we have chosen to be a distributor of a business intelligence solution (Enigma) which seems to us to be so differentiating and more powerful than the others.
05. Trainings
Where do the training sessions take place?
They can take place on your premises directly or on ours if you prefer (for a maximum of 6 people). The main thing is to have access to your tools or the others (a good internet connection is therefore essential) and a dedicated room (to avoid operational interruptions).
Are the trainings exclusively reserved for revenue management experts?
All trainings are tailor-made for you, with you and using your tools. They can therefore be adapted to the priority audiences of your organizations.
Operations managers, sales people, reservations or, of course, revenue management experts for whom we will create content that challenges their understanding of the policies defined by management. You will not have with us a "generic" training on the theme of revenue management theory and education.
We take into account your particularities, your problems and adapt the contents to really increase the competence of your teams, whatever their level.
Do you offer training exclusively in revenue management? or also in distribution, marketing, upsells?
We offer technical training on distribution tools and tool configuration. They are tailor-made because we want them to be of real and lasting help to you: we therefore use your existing tools and connectivity, which each time are different from one hotel or group to another.
We also offer very hands-on and pragmatic training on marketing, both reactively (telephone bookings, for individuals or groups) and proactively (sales canvassing).
